She’s a social worker and does a lot of miles. Request #1 is the ability to get from point A to point B. Request #2 is to have the ability to return to point A. She currently drives an 03 Camry. Other preferences are safety, good in snow comfy. She says she will only drive a Toyota. Can we convince her otherwise ? 02339 area code for searches

Toyota makes the best cars. Honda is good too, but their used prices are just too high “Honda tax”
Is she shopping for new or used? Price range?

The new Toyota Corolla is also a nice choice. The Prius/PriusV/ Camry Hybrid are also excellent alternatives for those who drive lots of miles, and the hybrid cars also have less maintenance.

Hell, just keep her in a Camry. It meets everything and it's not like driving something else will convert her.

A new Toyota at Copeland Toyota in Brockton. Where my girlfriend and her mom both go for cars. Super helpful staff

Probably the unfortunate answer

She said 20k but I think 10, 15 max. 20 will probably too high when she gets the math done

Anyone specified to talk to?

If she wants a comfy cruiser that will start every day and not break the bank, it does the job. Something more interesting would be wasted on such a task.

Lolololol I told her that and got an F U look

I think she would not get a Subaru because I drive one

Sounds like a Camry fits the bill just fine.

i guess that’s the answer for some people (a lot of people) I just figured there could be something better.

She could probably get a new Yaris for that price, possibly a clearance 2015 Memorial Day special. If not, there’s always CPO.

I sent that to her. She asked if she’s fancy enough

Yea is just a disappointing answer, for me anyway
![]() 05/16/2015 at 18:48 |

I bet she would find the Yaris to small.

Either the owner (his name slips me but he has a mustache and is older) or Jay Khub

To be fair, you never gave a price point hehe.

You can’t really make someone give a crap about cars. Let her know about a used Lexus ES. Nicer camry is a good upgrade.
![]() 05/16/2015 at 18:55 |

It’s a good idea but i don't think lux upgrade is in the cards

She could try out an Avalon. It has front wheel drive (I believe) so the snow won’t prove to be a problem. The car itself is quite comfortable, smooth as well as quiet. I see no reason for her to dislike it.

Haha it took me a little while to get my girlfriend to like imprezas, but she loves her Na!

How about a Corolla? Maybe a used Honda Crosstour or Acura MDX?
![]() 05/16/2015 at 23:56 |

lease return Corolla - likely atleast as nice as her 03 Camry

In guessing they would be to big for what she needs

I talked her boyfriend from a Camry you a corolla and he’s happy. It could happen. It just annoys me she won’t concider anything else
